Teachers in LCPS were able to sign their new contracts yesterday. A lot of publicity has been given to the "raise" that the teachers get this year. In looking back at my teaching contracts with LCPS, I am earning the same gross pay as I did in 2009-10. Because of planning time and meeting time cuts in the last two years, teachers have actually regressed a lot in their pay.
